A great review regarding a sun room we recently completed

We are really pleased with our new sun room/extension and outdoor kitchen. We think that we are going to be spending a lot of time in it. It’s lovely. Our old conservatory and surrounding patio and walls were demolished and cleared away very tidily. Our building work was carried out extremely professionally by the team, without any significant disruption to our lives. At the start, our original plans were found to need amendment, to satisfy planning regulations, and Dave sorted it out quickly with no fuss at all. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave to others and would certainly use him again ourselves.

Faultless two storey house extension!

Dave & his team beautifully transformed our house over five months. They removed an existing single storey garage conversion to a study in order to strengthen the foundations to build a two storey extension from front to back of the house. Dave saved bricks & roof tiles to use again to ensure the entire front of the house looked as if it had originally been built at the same time! He then found very similar bricks to build the long side & back walls. His immaculate attention to those details have brought us many compliments from neighbours and friends! Throughout the building work Dave & his team were thoughtful, helpful and immaculately clean & tidy, inside and out. Dave’s superb work, punctuality, reliability and courteousness plus his sense of humour could not be faulted throughout the build. We are absolutely delighted with the result of all his careful attention to detail!

Not only is it a superb finish, with which we are delighted, but you took all of the stress out of the build. I have been very impressed by the professional and thoughtful way in which the whole team went about its work. Nothing was too much trouble and we got exactly what we wanted at every stage. You were also very sensitive to our neighbours, making sure that they knew what was happening at each stage.

I also feel that we got real value for money. Not only was your price competitive, but you stuck to it. Anything we added, such as larger Velux windows, was sensibly and clearly priced with no hidden costs.

It was clear throughout that your focus was getting things exactly right for us. That led to a level of trust that I didn’t expect to achieve with a builder. Dave has done work for us on innumerable occasions. The work has always been of an impeccable standard, competitively priced and completed on time. I would recommend Dave to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic builders

We had our loft converted into a bedroom and en suite in the cold winter months this year. Dave and his team were so neat and tidy, cleaning and hoovering each day. The finished result far exceeded our expectations – every detail was planned and thought about throughout the build. Communication was excellent with all the professionals involved. Work was done in a timely fashion and we could not be happier with the result. We would highly recommend using Dave and his team – in fact we are thinking of our next project for them to do!

It’s Great to get some five star feedback

Dave has now completed a second major extension to our house to an impeccable standard. Not only are he and his team superb at what they do, but they are friendly, great communicators and complete perfectionists. They took on board all of our requests, made some great suggestions and delivered the project on budget. We really could not have asked for more. I was particularly impressed at how Dave secured all of the materials on time during the post lock down supply chain issues. This is no doubt because of the strong trade
relationships that he’s cultivated over years of professionalism and good humour. He and Andy are true gentleman and professionals and we would recommend them highly.

From start to finish you have remained calm and organized, despite the many many changes we made, often last minute. The way the whole team interacted with our girls and us was excellent. Despite their endless questions and them often getting in the way, you all treated them with friendliness and a lovely caring approach.

Your organization and the way you kept the site tidy made such a difference. The small touches like Joe’s hoovering most nights are the details that many building teams would miss and was the detail that made our life on site better. I don’t think that there was a single day when your team didn’t turn up when you said that they would and always with a smile on their faces.

The end product is just wonderful and you should be very proud of yourselves that you brought our dreams on paper to life and have given us a wonderful home to live in.

Dave & his team have completely transformed our house. The work they have carried out is exlempary & has been finished to a first class standard. A Lovely bit of feedback from a job we have completed in south Middlebrough

Extension and garage conversion

We had Dave and his team on site for just over 4 months carrying out the works which involved adding an additional storey above the current garage and converting one side of the existing double garage into a playroom.
I can honestly say they are the most considerate workmen I have ever had in my house. Very polite, great communication, kept the areas very tidy, respectful of personal space and family life.
All work was carried out to a high standard and any little problems or changes to plans we had along the way were dealt with and rectified at the time.

Hi Dave,

We just wanted to email and thank you, Andy and Peter for all your hard work and a job well done completing our extension. Such an undertaking was a massive upheaval in our lives and I was impressed with and thankful for your easy going approach, neatness and overall commitment to the job. Your calm understanding and all the answers you gave to my many questions was also appreciated.

The fact we were able to retain as much as possible of a ‘normal life,’ especially since we’ve got 2 kids under 5 years was of massive help and a huge positive impact in helping us ‘manage’ the build.

We’re really enjoying our new family time together and the kids love their new bedrooms! You’ll have to come back and see it once we get the garden finished.

Dave came highly recommended

Dave, has recently completed a single storey extension for me.
Dave came highly recommended by a friend and I had also seen his work in my local area.

It cannot be underestimated how professionally Dave and his team conducted themselves during the build and this was reflected through their building expertise, conduct and delivery.

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble for them. Dave daily discussed the build process and the plans for the following day so I was always aware of what was happening. Dave accommodated any minor changes and offered alternative actions to meet what I was looking for – no matter how small!!

The standard of work was excellent and the build was completed in just over 6 weeks start to finish. At the end of each day Dave ensured the site was left tidy and ready for the next day. Dave was aware of the impact of the build on neighbours and ensured the area bordering the extension was restored to its previous condition, if not better at the end of the job.
